The SEDGC works to protect the rights and well-being of students, especially those from socially and economically disadvantaged groups. It helps create a safe and inclusive campus by spreading awareness about social justice, equality, and government welfare schemes. The cell also guides students in availing scholarships, financial assistance, and legal support. Through workshops and outreach activities, it supports students in overcoming socio-economic challenges and actively participating in academic life.
The college follows inclusive policies in admissions, administration, and academics. Although the college is located in the Delhi NCR (Gurugram), more than 50% of the students come from rural areas. A 5% relaxation in marks is provided at the time of admission to students who have passed their qualifying examination from rural schools. The Earn-While-Learn (EWL) scheme further supports students from socially and economically disadvantaged groups.
To safeguard the interests of Scheduled Caste (SC) students, the college has a dedicated SC Cell. The cell ensures proper implementation of reservation policies in admissions and acts as a grievance redressal mechanism for SC students and employees. To reduce dropout rates among SC and economically weaker students, the college provides scholarships and stipends.
The college infrastructure is designed to meet the needs of differently-abled students and staff, with the entire campus equipped with tactile paving. The college also has an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and a Women Cell to ensure the safety and well-being of female students and employees.
